01/ Santorini Assyrtiko
We recommend the Argyros Estate for its clean and crisp character that showcases what Santorini whites is all about!
The most important bottling of the estate, the essence of what Estate Argyros stands for. Meticulously selected parcels, with ages exceeding a century, from top quality areas of the island, mainly Messaria, Karterados, Pyrgos, Megalochori and Akrotiri. Fermented in stainless steel at cool temperatures and aged for two months in stainless steel tanks on fine lees. A copybook Santorini, at least under the Argyros lenses, showing purity and race without excesses, developing for at least a decade.

02/ Kydonitsa Vatistas
Ioannis Vatistas distinguished Kydonitsa variety from the beginning and cultivated the private-owned vineyards in Monemvasia from 1986.
Now the second generation of the family, Maria Vatista, cultivates the beloved variety in an elegant and complex style that impressed us. The characteristic quince aroma coexists harmoniously, without towering over the complex total. Light straw-green color and distinctive aromas of white blossoms, white peach, pear and green apple. All this framed by a distinctive, yet elegant, scent of quince in the background, without any imposition. Structured mouth with mineral, discreet acidity and medium body.

03/ La Tour Melas Idylle d’ Achinos Rose
From 100-year-old vineyard of Agiorghitico grapes, the Rosé Idylle has a bright and soft rose color that captures the look and reminds of the rosé wines of Provence.
In the nose it impresses with a refined fragrant composition with notes of rose, red fruits and a slight herbality, while in the mouth is easy to drink, cool, with nice acidity and savory intensity.
04/ T-oinos Red Mavrotragano
Composition/Winemaking: 100% Mavrotragano from the magnificent Clos Stegasta vineyard. Fermentation with whole berries and whole bunches in big oak casks with indigenous yeasts isolated from our vineyards.
The wine matures for about a year in 500lts oak barrels, 20% of which are new. A seductive wine with a plethora of aromas. Oregano and violets are wrapped around a core of dark cherries, green pepper and espresso roast. The palate sets the ground along with the velvety tannins cutting through a complex and complete finish. A spherical wine seamlessly textured with no hard edges in sight. Delicious early on, better with age.
05/ Mouchtaro
We recommend the Samartzis Estate Single Vineyard Mouchtaro, an extra premium label unveiling the true potential of the variety.
Papanicolas vineyard in the valley of the Muses on the southeastern slopes of Elikonas (peak 1280 meters high) at 420 meters altitude. The light pressingof the grapes is done with a restored antique hand press from the early 20th century. Very deep red color. Aromas of black ripe forest fruits, violet, chocolate, tobacco. High acidity that emphasizes the fruit and tannins round, rich. Taste of black fruit, rich, with notes of chocolate and sweet spices. Full body, with a long aftertaste.12 months in oak barrels
